April Farnum is a Bay Area artist with over 15 years of experience as a graphic designer, photographer, and creative director. With a dual degree in graphic design and journalism, her heart lies in visual storytelling. Having worked for larger companies such as Leo Burnett Advertising, Colorado Public Television, and Village Voice Media as well as small, independent businesses, April offers a wide range of experience in branding/visual identity, marketing, social media management, writing and editing content, and photography. Prior to moving to San Francisco, she lived in Denver where she ran a non-profit art gallery that featured local burgeoning artists and was also a community garden leader in her free time. Passionate about sustainability, local food communities, and the maker movement, April traveled the West Coast from Seattle to San Diego to work with organic farmers and artists/makers to document their professions and passions alike. She currently resides in San Francisco where she works as a graphic designer and marketing consultant. She is also an avid cyclist and ceramicist.
