April Farnum received her bachelors degree in graphic design at Middle Tennessee State University and has focused the bulk of her career on editorial design and photojournalism. Upon moving to Chicago, her business morphed primarily into brand identity. Having nine years of experience working with large ad agencies, corporations and the little guy, she has a wide range of experience and a palpable instinct for communicating a message.

Currently, she resides in Denver, Colorado. In her free time she hikes mountains, is a garden leader for one of Denver's many community gardens and volunteers at MCA-Denver and PBS, writing press releases and promotional material. She also sews door snakes for her Etsy site and makes organic bread for a local cafe. Until more recently, she owned and curated the not-for-profit art gallery, Skinny Squirrel,  to propagate the DIY culture of renegade artists and crafters.

And you might just see her tooling around on her bike.

Her photos have been featured in GOOD Magazine, ReadyMade, The Daily Green, The Lighthouse, Schmap Boulder, and HouseTribe.

As a copywriter, photographer and designer, April is available for contract as well as permanent positions. She might even relocate. Just for you.
